The project provides four separate trainings, but they are presented as a whole in order participants to acquire skills to apply the methodology to adopt new technologies. During each particular session they will acquire the skills to analyze the use of ICT, create recommendations and action plan for the adoption of new technologies, acquire new technologies (new technologies for ICT implementation in education) and finally, design details for these technologies (digital teaching content).
C1 – This training is an initial activity in the project and it is very important for defining further activities. The purpose of this activity is to enable the participants to identify and face the level of integration of ICT in teaching in their classroom (school). The direct benefits of this training for the participants will be the development of their analytical skills and critical dealing with their results achieved and the results of the others and globally.
C2 – This training is designed for the participants to accept the results of the analysis and identify the recommendations for adoption of new technologies and to make an action plan for it.
C3 – During this training, participants will learn about the "big picture" of modern technologies and methodologies in teaching and will recognize the opportunities for ICT implementation in teaching in the form of e-learning. They will gain skills to use the e- learning tools.
C4 – During the final training participants will acquire skills to use tools for creating digital teaching content and adopt a methodology for designing and sharing of OERs.
After completion of the training, participants will be capable of creating OERs individually and apply them in everyday teaching.
The Center for Electronic Learning - CEU will submit the training programs to the UGD Senate for approval. For successful completion of the training, participants will receive a CEU certificate.
The successfully designed OERs can be proposed for approval to the National Agencies or Ministries to be used as official teaching tools. This depends on the national regulations.
